Time to collect coins increased

I noticed this as well. Certainly makes the game less interesting, slower and boring to have to wait so long to collect. I'm starting to lose faith in the game and I'm ready to give up on it.

I am having the same issue, but many of mine are now 8 hours, instead of 2 or 3 as before.

I'm on a higher level (18 I think) and noticed the same thing just yesterday. I think we used to be able to collect the total coins in increments but now we have to wait the full time and then collect the full amount of coins. I actually liked it better the other way but I suppose if you don't check the game very often, this new ay is fine.

Same has happened to me! Everything now takes 4 times longer to collect what was 6 hours is now 24hrs, etc I am a level 40 and it costs so much to get anything or open up new territory that I am seriously considering quitting the game! Every since the last update! I hope they fix this soon!!!!!!!

I'm at level 17. Here, the time increased to 8 hours, from 2, and no increase in value...a total rip off. Yet another example of how the game designers are determined to take a great game and ruin it! I love the game, but it takes too long to advance and costs escalate out of all proportion. I'll never get to the end! I can't believe one person reports reaching level 50!!! It's taken me 4 months to get to where I am now. I'm just about ready to quit. Clearing land now costs me about 600,000 coins.

I'm at level 35. It costs me 20,000,000 to clear land, and more to send ships for 24hr Sapphire runs. Making us wait the full 8hrs instead of 2 for merchants is simply idiotic. The game becomes far less playable and less interesting for sure. Well done PG, you just lost another customer.

I noticed this today also, and the delay is extremely annoying as well as unwelcomed. I really was enjoying the game until today. There are too many other games available that don't make me wait all friggin day to collect so it's time to *DELETE*.

I never collected before the full time because it was such a huge waste of time. I am on level 36 and the minimum amount of coins doesn't help at all because it is so expensive to do anything. I would like to do away with the houses that collect only a pittance of coins. They just clutter up my screen for barely any money and take up valuable space. Expanding is much to expensive now! I can only afford one square every 2-3 days and I collect 50-60 million each day!!

It's because of upgrading the merchants.Some upgrades need to be done trying to complete quest. Everytime u upgrade to the next tier. The time takes longer to collect the coins. That whts the tier is

I don't believe it has anything to do with upgrades - I can collect 4 times per period (e.g. every 2 hours for 8 hours, or 6 for 24) and my merchants are upgraded more than my friends who can only collect once in a period. Can it be the version, I don't think so since we are on the same. I'm baffled!.. But I agree with you all, the game gets slower and slower, land is far too expensive, I think merchants etc are fair (except those bought with rubies which give not enough payback for the outlay)
