I need More ropes

I'm in need of a 4th rope to finish a Quest. I've sent Beth's cruiser and the Merchant man out several times on long voyages, with no luck. Any suggestions?

I stuck here also! I already sent few times ships on long voyages but no luck for ropes.. Some advice, which ship is the best to find ropes and canvases? Tnx!

The cruiser and the merchantman are the best for finding ropes and canvases - until about level 20.
