Dread pirate Randalls
How to defeat him? My toughest ship is rated "low" against him. I have all ships in the list except mayflower (which is weak) - and I have maxed out the upgrades to all but a couple of my ships.

There has to be a ship that u have to still upgrade that would defeat it. Send the ships on voyages to collect more pearls and then to upgrade.

Don't start attacking with Jim's cruiser. It is expensive to repair, same for emerald queen. Attack first with weaker ships. After your ship "sinks" the damage you inflicted will remain on your enemy if you attack again right away. Continue using cheaper to repair ships until the spirate is damaged enough to finish off with one shot from your best ship. This works for all pirates and even other players. U can use all your ships if needed. In this way your best ship is always available to defend too! instead of repairing for 18hrs.

Captain Jims Cruiser maxes out at 900/900 power & defense, that is enough to defeat Dread Pirate Randall. The Emerald Queen can come close in power, max your upgrades, add equipment and time your shots and you can sink him.
