Im Only earning 1or 2 zaphires when completing a level. I'm on level 9 and still can't find a way to get more The mermaid only gives me pearls that I'm using to upgrade I need zaphires. Have enough ways to make coins !!! Help

My mistake. I mean O make more rubies. I'm not getting one ruby from each quest I pass.

The rubies are not easily obtained because the game makes prophet by selling the rubies for real cash. You do not need rubies, they just add incentive.
