Price of land expansions changes

Hi the cost to expand my land keeps changing - last night it was up to over $50,000 to expand 1 plot but this morning it is back to just over $6,000 ... How come the price changes like that?

If u dont expand in some time, the cost will go down.. if u continue to expand continuesly, the coast will rise up..
