You just have to keep sending your ships out. I have usually five out at a time and the rest in bay. That's the only way I ever got them. But I'm on her wish now and I haven't been getting any

Paradise Cove gives you a hint of the ship in Esther's Wish description (the lock on the sail). Takes these ships on long Voyages increases the amount and odds of getting tools.

The Golden Hind = coconuts
Cpt. Beth = ropes
Cpt. Johns = canvases

I need help! I sent all my boats on long voyages and I didn't get any coconuts! even the golden hind didn't get me any :/ how should I get the FIVE coconuts?:/

I visually got a coconut from the Hind once but didnt see any after. I agree with Kay - keep about 4-5 ships out doing short voyages. I noticed i recieved more coconuts when I sent out more ships. It's weird because I got the coconut count but wasnt sure where they were coming from! Just to let you know what I did-collect from the whales often, keep the ships out and play often. I hope this helps.

Where did u buy banana plantation? I still got no coconut after sending many boats to voyages many times at the same time!! It's really difficult to find any coconut OMFG!!
