Unable o transfer account

I have just bought an iPad, so obviously I wanted to transfer my rod2 account onto it. .. When I go into settings, and transfer it shows me a message saying 'you cannot transfer an account onto this device' .... Why is this? And is there any other way I could do it. I have bound my account to an email, just wanna put it on my iPad.
