How to Boost into ice ponds as hero Sven

How is this done. I gone into ponds with a boost (from back flips, downward vertical speed, etc.) and managed to seemingly boost out fo them on occasion. But nothing lowers my total of 10 needed. I'm guessing there's a simple answer that is staring me in the face but I can't see it. Much appreciated.

Use rockets ( powerups ). it should make it slot easy to finish this, plus, it is required that u crash into the pound while on boost, not get the boost in it
