Clear the floor

Has anyone worked out hot to clear the floor of the junk items. These being the piles of what looks to be cables and other items? Anyvhelo wiuld be appreciated. I have tried using the edit feature in the menu but this has not worked.

You can only clear space that is owned by you. Double click on the pile or whatever it is.
