What is the different between MTK and ATK?
Which one is better to hunt? Which one makes more damage to monsters? ATK or MTK? Right now i focused on the MTK but still couldn't see much different..

Which one is better depends on your pet and how it has leveled up. You can see under a pets details what level it's magic attack and regular attack is. I don't believe you get to choose whether your pet uses magic or not, it's random during battle.

All pets up to level 7 have one skill that is a rank higher than the rest. It's random, but you might see this:
Fire Atk Lv6
Fire Atk Lv7
Fire Mtk Lv5
Fire Mtk Lv6
The Atk level 7 will come out most of the time, unless your foe has defense of some kind, then you'll use Mtk level 6. The AI uses whatever attack it thinks will do the most damage. If you had the pet above, you'd want to pump your atk stat higher since for the most part, your pet will try to use Atk level 7.
