Karema was easily the hardest model for me to please....like, ridiculously hard. If anybody else has trouble, here is what I used. It got me 3 stars.

short black hair, kind of shaggy
black eyeshadow with Egyptian/'cat look' eyeliner/mascara ( I think this one either came with the game or got unlocked in the shop early.)
the silverish/greyish dress w/ thigh-length skirt
thigh-high nylons w/ dots and bows
black bra
shiny black eyes
open toed black shoes with three bows (Karma almost absolutely needs to have these; they were the only shoes I had that didn't get a super-low core.)

signature items:
compact
floral scarf

The main thing here is to use as much black, silver, or grey as you can. You can add things like black or silver jewelry to get more points. She doesn't just want formal; she also wants GOTH. I think the keyboard item also gets you a decent amount of points and/or help you get three stars, too, as do the black wings.

I recieved a 3 star score for this when i placed Karma in white angle wings (signate item when you get past the angle level)
A black and red rose for her head which you can buy at the shop
a goth black and red dress (full length)
the black three bow open-toed shoes
the white gloves with holes in them
the shaggy goth long black hair
the goth silver necklace (looks kind of like jaws)
and the signature dark purple hand bag
this outfit costed me no precious money coins but not the fancy meney

@alice : hahaha.. actually you do not need to worry about the money at all.. you can always change your day on your device and you will get the daily reward ( money ) :D

@Alice This is important for everyone else too :) If you need some extra coins or money or whatever, if you're using an Apple device go to settings and then change date and time to a day later go back to style me girl and you'll keep getting your daily gifts!! Do it as much times as you want, I pretty much have 4000 silver coins right now :P Hope this helped!

For all of you that were trying all of these and wasted money ... Like me do what heather described except the gold case use the dark purple also add (optional) a red and black hair rose and all of you out there saying omg you can only use blah blah blah shoes are wrong you can use any black high heel shoe. Make sure to add a pear anklet! Thank gtg im giong to stop now

Okay, really simple, you probably have a lot of this stuff already. I got 3 stars after finally giving up on what everyone else was saying.

Cherry dress
Open toed black shoes
Net leggings with bows
White fan
Short black hair sticks out at the bottom
Black eyes
Black eyeshadow
Gold makeup kit

A couple of these might be three star items but if I got them you probably did too.
