Removing people who won't play

How do I remove challenges/challengers who do not play. My list is adding up I want to remove them coz they don't play and their name remains on my list saying "waiting" or " nudge". AND how do I decline a challenge so it doesn't remain on my player list? That's all for now.

Swipe the player from left to right to delete

Put your pointer to the right of the "nudge", and a little X box will appear to delete them amy g
