How do you beat the fungus plague on brutal difficulty
My question is simple; how do you beat the fungus plague on brutal difficulty? the answer im looking for is more difficult as the newest version (1.3) has a devolve system that increases the cost of devolving by 1 for each devolve. i breezed thru most of the other plague types(including bio weapon) with no real problems on brutal dispite the escalating cost to devolve symptoms but since the fungus spreads so slowly i seem to always end up with no dna points and a rapidly developing cure. for those of you with a lesser version of the game, i dont want your pathetic attempts at a walkthru as they will not work for this version, personally i think you should update your game so that you can understand just what i am dealing with p.s. you lesser version guys suck and should never call yourselves masters of this game until you beat the newest version on brutal with no add-ons (genes/cheats) as i have. but for those with the newer version who have completed the fungus plague on brutal your help/ guides will be greatly appreciated. thnx in advance. -S3V

Yes, I also found that. I have finished Nano-Virus and Bio-weapon in brutal level, But found it is EXTREMELY hard to play fungus. Spread is too slow, even I have infect everyone in a country, most of ship and airplane is still white, NOT RED. And even very slight symptom will make global focus, they even cut all transmission even no death ever happened. Devolve symptom costs more and more DNA. In a word, I have no idea, just wait there and be cured... ALSO waiting strategy for this...

Take your time with it. Take the gene mod that makes devolving not get expensive. Let it spread slowly, collecting lots of dna as you go, make sure your ready before you become known. Kill everyone fast. That's what I did.

When u start in fungus i found it easier to start in India devolve all the symptoms u get for free and upgrade ure air and water to bio aerosol and cold to the second level and wait it might take a while but its worth it( it works for all levels untill the last 2 viruses) after u do that save all the dna points u get then evolve your symptoms tototal organ failuer and coma its starts with the lung one and let the death beagen. After they start diying off get the genetic reshuffel and thats all u beat it the end lol good luck hope this helps
