Place the torpedo tube at te edge off the boat, and fire it as you would a cannon. Refrain from submerging it.

It's just like a cannon but you need to get in range but when you for it goes down to the water. this is my favorite weapon because it literally makes every enemy ship sink for me

You just shoot when you are close. Very hard to aim but it's a instant kill shot.

Just mount them within a few blocks of the edge and make sure they're ABOVE the water. they never rotate to aim however so make sure u aim ur ship right. i have a little MTB which can sink the capricornus and travels at 65kt so its possible.

The torpedo is launched when you fire. If you zoom in on your ship you can see a black dot ( half the size of decent cannonball ) be shot off to the (front being north) NW or NE side of your ship. it will travel a decent part outwards in this angle and than turn and head straight forwards.

though this only happens when your in range of ships. if you click in range you can fire them but they wont turn as there is no target in front of you that is in range.

Nice tactics are to make a wooden boat, realy small, put a large steam pipe on it ( more engine power) add 4 to 6 or more propellors ( make sure they are submerged completely ) and then add a 4 or more torpedo weapons. youd be going over 120 knots speeding towards your targets throwing off their aim. and when your in range ( you get there quick) you fire all your torpedoes.

Its a suicide run for if your hit you sink. and doing a 90 degree turn with 120 knots is insta flipped. So aim first than speed in and fire, then drop your speed and turn and speed up away from danger.

Or if you use the dolphin diving technique, you speed toward them, fire, then dive.

And if you make the boat correctly, you can run at high speeds. Hitting 90 degree turns at 150+ knots, no flips.

Put it on the edge of your ship then shoot like how you would with a cannon. The bullet will float in the water to the enemy ship.
