Question & Answers
Tonnage limit, Cannot add more parts
If i want to add an Angled boiler, it says: tonnage limit! Cannot add more parts. But i can still add an large boiler and other things. Is it a bug?
Answer from: bigstach
No because a angled boiler is way heavier than all of the other items that you can get for your ship
Answer from: Lifeless
I think you dont have enough room to use it. You might try tO clear a 5x5 block just to make sure, and then try to put it on.
Answer from: kayne
Theres not enough space for the boiler to go in that specific spot, something my be in the way, or might be blocking it, or at least thats what i had to do..
Answer from: necron7894
Its not a bug, it means thats the peice that you want to ad is to heavy for the ship to take, but the other peices you added are lighter and the ship can take them inteel the max weight is used.
Answer from: Karas-Z
The Angled boiler's size is a 3 x 4 x 4. So try making more space for it. Since everything worked for me, it should work for you too. Lastly, if it dosen't work, then its a bug.

The angled boiler is heavier than the other parts, so if you place it down it exceeds the tonnage limit, while lighter parts dont
Answer from: Ship Destroyer
No. An angled boiler is the biggest single thing. You need more space.
Answer from: THE PUNISHER
Delete other parts of your ship and add ur angled boiler first, it should work
Answer from: DrHans
It's the SPACE! NOT THE WEIGHT. Tonnage limit only means the no SPACE for the boiler.
Answer from: Dmach2
Add a few temporary blocks to the side of where you would like to put your angled boiler(s) so that there more than enough room. Then reposition your angled boiler(s) on where you originally wanted it/them. Next delete the temporary blocks. Voila, hope this helped.
Answer from: Kyle
Theres not enough space for a angled boiler. If u can add a large boiler, than a angled boiler is bigger.
Answer from: Sethsolo
Actually i experienced this wen theres no more space for an item even though theres i can put other stuff like i can put a four block item but i cant put an eight block item it mean it cant fit try making more space
Answer from: lsudude410
Try adding 9 large hulls and making them into a square, tonnage limit means if a part will fit anywhere or not.
Answer from: Asluchenba15
It doesn't mean space! It does the same thing for large weapons! It means you have too much weight for the strength of the materials.
Answer from: Anonyomous
The object takes too much space.
Answer from: -none-
It is due to the lack of area, the message is saying that your ship doesn't have enough room. It is not due to weight, check the units of space it requires (shown in the item's picture) and modify your ship so it has enough flat area to accommodate the item.
Answer from: LEVEL VIP
The percentage on the top of your device actually means how much Pieces of blocks (And other stuffs) you ship can have. The game needs that to make sure nobody builds a ship too big. It means that your blocks had have its limit and it cannot take anymore. If you have any 1*1 or 2*2 blocks, then switch that for bigger ones such as the lightweight 400mm 2*3*1 armor instead of 600mm 1*1*1 armor. If you put bigger pieces on your boat, then you can save a lot of percentage.
Answer from: Hardcore colors
The game needs to change the message from tonnage limit to not enough space.
