How to construct a heavy armored ship?
I have no idea how it happened but my level is VIP and I keep having to battle the same guy over and over again when I play online however I can't sink his ship I have 5 46cm cannons, 2 40cm cannons, 9 30.5cm cannons and some smaller cannons and even though I hit him with most of the large ones I only do little to no damage. My ship is only armored from the top with 400mm LW armor and top sides with 600mm LW armor. He is attacking me with about 9 46cm cannons so it takes him some 2 well placed shot from all cannons to sink me I have tried different tactics but can't sink him most I have done is lower his health bar to about 80% and that was only once. Any idea on how to make a heavy armored ship that can fit atleast 8-10 46cm cannons? My ships are all atleast 350m long I prefer firepower over speed even though they are capable of going at 120 knots. Thanks in advance!!

Regular armor is heavy and so is the light weight stuff so ur best choice is buy a bunch of captains and officers cause the are practically weight less and give u a TON of r more
Answer from: lsudude410
I would suggest to add more captains and officers like @Pilotgeorge said, -OR- add some LW 600mm armor in a line of 2x10 long ways and a square of 400mm LW at the end~~Battering Ram~~ hit the guy, he will most likely sink, idk, my ship isn't VIP, but try this and see...

Buy a fortress Pisces and delete all everything that is not 600mm lightweight armor (takes some time). Then slap 600mm armor on it until it is 100% 600mm armor and can fit 8 46 cm guns. Put 46 cm guns on it and boom you got an awesome ship that can take hundreds of 46 com hits (true). a good ship like that would have 8-10 75,000 40cm guns, 2-3 46 cm guns, and dozens of 30.5 cm guns for close range fire.

The best way for u is to have lots of amour and toughness I reccmond u have about 1000 amour but adding anything other than 200, 400, or 600mm amour or weapons it will lower amour
Answer from: Someone
Buy lots of weapons like the ones that cost 90,000 about 3 or 4 of those and lots of the ones that are the range of 10 km+ and make a fortress fortress are stronger than boats
Answer from: Alderon13
Make a block of at least 200 stability out of 600mm lightweight up to 90% mask off an angled boiler and put the propellers with blocks surrounding them except for the way of propulsion
1001 mj armor
My boat XD
Answer from: WhyDouCare
Just RAM him with a strong front (600 mm lightweight) But make sure that you have more speed than 180 speed or just use a hydroboat.

I have a similar problem to, no matter how many times I hit a ship, most of them don't even take a scratch, even when taking a direct hit from one of my underwater torpedoes, does anyone know how there doing this?
Answer from: GodCraftian
The thing is if you have a ship made of 100% 600mm LW armor, the toughness is increases ten fold. Plus, if they have armor under the water line it would take tens of torpedoes to bring it down to 3/4 health. Trust me, I have a full 600 mm armor ship and I tested it with duel level 9 and the oxygen torpedoes tubes took 10 minutes when all of them were firing.

Nope, the only thing you should use is 400mm lw armor chunks( the big blocks or slabs). The take up less tonnage than the regular 600mm lw 1x1 blocks, so you will have an overall bigger, tougher ship. My ship: Big Ugly:
7 46 cm guns
