Game Question & Answers
Best way to take down a fortress
I've been stuck on the marmite time fortress level 2. I have a ramming ship but I can't dodge the bullets how do I destroy it?
Answer from: Metten1
Maritime fortress lvl 2 is really really hard to destroy. Ramming-specialized ships are always hard to control cause of the high speed, so dodgung bullets with them is nearly impossible. You can better build a big ship that goes about 80 knots. Then put 46 cm guns on it and start the battle. First defeat the fortress when dodging the bullets, then the otherships

Put down enough 600mm lightwheght armor to fit 7 46cm guns and 6 angled hoilers. Put 1/2 hulls arond the side on the top and put a point at the front again on the top if you have the parts build it if not it costs around 850,500+

You could just use your ship to earn 540,000 dollars (recommend 630,000 though) and get fortress pisces itself. HINT: to make it easier just earn more money and make it bigger (new update: vulcan cannon, rocket launcher. etc)and better.

Just build a torpedo ship. With very fast speed and torpedo launchers. Like they did it back in World War I. Get to the big ship, launch torpedos, and escape. Defense: Add a top to prevent the main ship from being hit. (It worked on me)

Eh, fortress or submarine. I have beaten fortress lv 2 with both. A fortress doesn't move as fast, but it is highly resistant to Damage. Even if you do destroy the boilers, nothing really happens. Submarine is good with torpedos because I used a sub and took Pisces out in 4 shots.

I did the same. WWII U boat XXI design. 30 knots neutral. 40 knots max submerging/flank speed
Answer from: Someone
Someone did a ramming ship on my "ultimate fortress" and it did only 10 to 20 percent of my health it went about 70 or 80 knots so I think torpedoes will work
Answer from: Troll
I got three stars and have defeated Maritime fortress lv 2 several times XD with my submarine. Go out of the water really quickly and fire torpedoes (oxygen torpedoes are the best, but cost real money), then go down straight away. Target the fortress first, then kill off the other 2 ships. Easy, fail-proof way to win and get 5000 resources.

Make a ship 800m long and 70m wide (a giant platform) out of large hull blocks then cover the front with large 400mm armor. Cover the rest to about the 1/2 way point with the free 600mm armor. The front of the ship should be higher that the rest. Put a powerful gun on the front on the raised section and then put boilers, propellers and rudders. At first, don't shoot and just drive forward the fortress. you will be mostly underwater but the raised part of the ship will still be out of the water. When the fortress gets close enough it will stop firing and then you shoot. The two other ships will also stop firing.

When I first took on the fortress lvl 2, I hada ship of 600mm armor 10 wide and long enough to sport every gun I had. For that, a mass of 4x5 guns like the 40cm gun are better than the gigantic 46cm gun (not the casein multiplayer). Fortress Pisces only has 454 armor, so you don't -really- need the super gun to hurt it.
I used 4 40cm guns, 4 30.5+ cm guns, and several of the smaller 30.5 cm guns. Since I had room, I also had 2 46cm guns. The first volley took off nearly 3/4 of his health, and within 3 volleys he was sunk. Meanwhile they couldn't hurt me because of the 600mm armor, and the other two ships went down without too much trouble.
If you're looking to earn quick money, the Duel lvl 10 is the best. I currently have a 100% build multiplayer ship that's 8 blocks wide (narrows toward the tip) and 113 blocks long. I have 4 46cm guns, 4 40cm tri-guns, 2 40-cm guns, and 5 30.5+ guns. The opposing ship doesn't move immediately.
One volley sinks the enemy and gets me 3500 coins, and really it doesn't take half that firepower to do it.

I could handle the fortress with my 46cm guns, but the two other ships knocked me out in the mean time. So I put my ship in fast reverse which seemed to keep the other two ships away while I distroyed the fortress. Then I went into full speed forward and went after the two ships starting on the left. It is really tricky to guage how far in front of the two ships you need to aim, but once they're hit, they stop.
