Huge, armored ship?
Ive been trying to make a boat that is huge, but has massive damage tolerance. So far, Ive had no luck. Any suggestions on what i could do?

Build the long 600 mm armor and add about 5 of the biggest guns the skeleton has massive armor, capacity and floating capacity in the first place but its very slow for one angled boiler and 2 of the Yamato guns my only goes about 30 knots.

Well, I faced this one guy with a HUGE ship. "The Real Yamato" was his ship's name. My ship was totslly destroyed, and i barely dealt him any damage.

Make your whole ship's hull is fully made out of 600mm lightweight. This will improve your ships defense. Also make sure the hull is 2 blocks tall no more no less.

I only hav 600mm amour with some 1/6 400mm amour and 9 guns so far no loss

Use 600mm amour and put one layer on top and sides do not put it on the bottom it will just slow your ship down.

If you are look looking for a ship like design, take a battleship capricornus and stop it of its fancy stff and extend the hull 8-10 blocks longer and mount a mixture of 46cm guns, rockets AND TORPEDOES! That way you will be fast, hard(er) hitting and can take a hit. On the flip side, I created a super fortress (its name is your funeral) by taking a free design and make a gun deck with large 400mm armor as the hull. Either 28 or 36 46cm guns some torpedoes and rocket launchers. It's toughness it in excess of 5300 and armor is over 1400. Only got beat once by a Japanese hacker.
