Have you checked the weight of your boat because it affect's the out come of the speed. Also have only 2 propellers because the more you have the more stress on the Gas turbine.

From ALL of my ships, none can go over 100 knots with one boiler of any type.

Use your starter ship or mikasa then strip everything of it make it 2 blocks high make sure there is no armour or ballast put the engine at the back and it should go 100-150 knots.

I just made one that goes 190 knots in a straight line with 1 gas turbine engine it's possible you just have to try.

Well it's hard to do that just add 1/2 hull behind the propeller and the speed will go up .1-1.1 knots

Easy first you buy 1 200mm lightweight armour skeleton and take all the ballast of the bottom and replace it with hull then you can add a gas turbine engine and it will go a whopping 194 knots if you add an angled boiler it goes 194 again and if you add a large boiler it goes 159 knots and if you add a medium boiler it goes 110 knots and for the small boiler it goes 74 knots on just one small boiler so if you have an existing ship make the propellers 2 to 4 blocks apart and 3 blocks deep into your ship. I have 50 aircraft boilers and 15 gas turbine engines on my ship and it goes 84.3 knots but it ways about 250,000 tonnes so no wonder it goes slow lol. This should help because I did it when I wrote this. Good luck and happy building

Answer from: CMY
Make it lighter and the front slightly heavier so it does not bob up and down. If done correctly a ship can hit 195.8 knots with one medium boiler.
