Destroyer main mast is it worth it
I am thinking about buying a destroyer main mast I know it costs a lot but I can get the money easily will it make my ship easier to beat, harder to beat or will it just be a good decoration

I've bought it, and it doesn't seem to do anything other than be an expensive decoration! Still, it looks good :)

Masts, especially when mounted high up, increase the distance your ship can spot enemies. An example is that my ship, The Arrowhead, has the laser rangefinder mounted about 5 blocks above water level, and I can spot ships up to 17.2 km away. My submarine, with no masts, can't see ships farther away than 10km

Thats because subs have a tendency to heva reduced view range

Higher you put further visibility you have, although it may affect the weight balance of your ship
