What is the turret base used for is it even used for anything

So say you have the 15000$ gun. you would put down the turret base, then put the turret on top of thr base. hope this helps. :)

It only makes the turret look cooler. no real effect, just something to put the turret on. A little trivia, the 46 gun got shorter a few updates ago, I think the base was just part of the turret's model prior to this. Now it is a seperate and pointless decoration...

It does help because u can place the $90,000 dollar gun on fewer blocks, so u don't have to have as much blocks under it, it also helps because the gun is a little bit higher so u can put other stuff underneath

The turret base can also lift turrets further back above turrets in front, allowing them to fire over their brethren instead of through them. :D

The turret base for 46 cm gun really make a good spot to put it I use it a lot it safes time too :)

Lots of battleships have the back cannon in the front to be higher than the front cannon other wise it would shoot the other cannon. It helps a lot for me. Once i had to cannons on the same level and the back one did't fire.
