Question & Answers

What's wrong with my Free Deising Fortress ?

When I try run and rise the speed it does nothing. It doesn't even move! I went back and couldn't figure out what was wrong. I have 1 large boiler, 3 propellers, and 3 rudders (not the big ones). How do I fix this?!

Make sure your propellers are underneath the water and for some extra speed make sure there 2 propellers both with blocks behind both propellers blocks in between them and on the outside of them and it should increase the speed by 30 knots it worked when I done it

Add more boilers. They may have reduced the power of large boilers to make space for the new ones. And also take away one propeller. I found two propellers are the best unless you have lots of boilers or you use a submarine.

Fortresses aren't build to move. They are reallt strong and that's y they don't have to move. U should also make sure the props are beneath waterlevel, and the boiler mustn't be underwater, otherwise it won't work. Hope this helps

I would say make a second layer just to make sure that the propellers are under water.

@Metten1 the boiler is in the middle blocked by hulls so water doesn't touch it.

My fortress goes 80 knots and I suggest that you Add a gas turbine engine have 2 propellers and most importantly make sure your ship is in a diamond shape when you try run not in a square because the more flat sides you have the harder it is to move.

For starters, it's a fortress, and those are pretty weak. But make sure the propellers are under water. And if you want extra speed, replace the large boiler with a gas turbine, as it is twice as powerful, and takes up the same amount if space. Hope it helps. :)
