Defeating Yamato With Custom Aircraft Carrier
I have tried to defeat Yamato with a custom aircraft carrier I made with more than 20 planes, but the Yamato always sinks my aircraft carrier before I can even launch all of them. How do I defeat the Yamato with a custom aircraft carrier?
Answer from: Mavricks
You can add more armor or reverse so you are out of range
Answer from: Trpphycollector
You can only use a sub to defeat Yamato. I just saved up 420,000 resources by winning duel 9 so I could get the u boat. Just make one that can win level nine and save up enough money to either build or buy a better ship than you have. :)

@Mavricks: I tried to reverse out of range, but my ship still gets hit by the Yamato guns. Is their another way to beat Yamato with aircraft carrier?
Answer from: Mavricks
You don't have to have a sub to beat Yamato I have 2 battleships that have no proplem beating Yamato and there not even close to being a sub
Answer from: Mavricks
You could put your propellers on backwards also make sure you only have 2 proppelers and some gas turbines it should work if you can go over 60 knots. Also even if you reverse but still get hit it does buy you time try and dodge bullets the computer system calculates where your ship is going and shoots ahead but after they shoot you can move to avoid being hit

The only way I beat the Yamato is using my special sub/carrier hybrid.
Answer from: Ship
@Guest, when u battle Yamato it takes a while to get in range with the Yamato. So reverse inmedity.

It's not true, you can defeat Yamato with a ship, you don't have to use a sub. I have defeated Yamato with my ship: I got 2 stars out of 3. You just have to hit the side and get MK45 5 Inch guns and hit the side, if you hit the side more, it sinks more and make sure you have a good ship. It is possible to defeat Yamato with a aircraft carrier. You just need to reverse, launch planes, go and then you need like 2 MK 45 5 guns and atleast a 46CM Gun. That's how you do it. My friend has like 30 something planes and he got 2 stars. He's ship has SO Much strength it has 160,000

Personally I go straight at it. When coming straight on I use my MK 45s to strip off many of its AA guns to give my planes a chance. Then when it turns to the side I keep hitting it low with MK45s. Your ship has to be capable of taking damage. Make sure your carrier has guns as planes are not enough in multiplayer as many people make sure their ships can go >70 knots which makes it hard for planes to hit them.
Answer from: LEVEL VIP
You can make a hybrid or if you want to be a carrier, then reverse back while launching your planes. My ship is a hybrid with at least 3000 toughness and at least 10 of MK5's and 10 of 46 cm guns. I also have at least 10 aircrafts. (LEVEL VIP) then I just hit one side of the Yamato since it only have 70 stability and it flips over while my planes bomb it. 3 stars every time!

I can beat the Yamato with my completely customed builded ship without real money . ( ok I don't win eveytime and when I do my ship is usually badly damaged and I only get one star ) my ship has 2 AA guns , 3 46 cm guns ( on higher than the other ) and 2 mk ( something ) guns and two dive bombers at a under deck hanger . My ship has 500+ armour and has 1000 + strength . It can also go about 108 knots max .(give or take ) but the Yamato is heavily defended against aircraft
Answer from: Arnold
Buy 5 MK45 guns and shoot Yamato in the right side or use a submarine
