Tank against bombers
Before 1.5 my ships were able to withstand anything. But now bombers are really annoying since they take it down with ease. So is there a way to build a ship that tanks against bombers? Or do I have to shoot them down.

Maybe use 10-20 AA guns. They will shoot the bomber when near.

Make a ship with toughness if 4000 or above and you will be able to take on 10-20 bombers with ease

Another good idea would be to make a platform of armor a few meters above your ship. Now the bombers will hit the plate, not the vulnerable and vital stuff like boilers and props

Don't bother potting armour, cause after the enemy ships cannons get the armour / torpedo bomber even the airplanes MGs ( machine guns ) can do some serious damage & don't bother buying AA guns ( anti aircraft guns ) they are just a waste of money . Instead buy some cheap short ranged guns and let her rip when those fighters come . For bombers it's mostly about luck , cause the only thing u can do about them is get the expensive long ranged guns ( not the AA gun ) and shoot them while they are still low enough to shoot & your ship design to be strong ( my can Restand about maybe just oven a dozen bombs , torpedoes and the ships cannons . But if u have a fast strong long ranged ship try to go full speed ahead and shoot the carrier deck before the plans launch and those on it will be destroyed ( highly unrecomended) and don't buy those bomers to try to take down enemy aircraft so unless u buy ( rare metals ) and buy those fighters ( only recommended in numbers don't ( but the bomers are worth it ) most of the time ( my ship is a battleship with an under deck runway ) " though so far I only got enough cash for 2 bomers " ( I don't use real money ) and some advise for money to buy those ( buy those mark something guns and farm duel 7 ) ( also that gun is recommended for taking out fighters at long range ) but so far the only way to destroy bomers for me is with my 46 mm guns when just taken off or my mark something guns when they are flying back to rearm - and if u need to - add stabalizers at the side ( but it makes your ship tilt easier when shot there ) though keeps it upright at normal times and makes it float higher so anyway that's it hope this helps . :)
