The thumbs up button during a try run or online battle (Closed)

What does that thumbs up sign mean. When you press it white stuff comes out of you big guns. So what does it mean.

Answer from: CMY
It is probably a smokescreen. With enough guns you can produce enough smoke to hide your ship completely while you make a run or something. But this requires a small ship and enough big guns and also plenty of speed to be effective. You will also notice your big guns will have to reload after using the button so they are firing.

It is for a gun salute, it can be used as a smokescreen or just a game lag device but if a ship is fast it is almost useless as a smokescreen.

It's to say "I like your ship." or "Good game!". You can use it as a smokescreen to make it less obvious if you want to go backwards.
