Submarine vs torpedoes (Closed)
Can any torpedo hit a submarine while the submarine is underwater or just the torpedoes from underwater torpedotubes?
Answer from: Westcompany
If a torpedo hits a submarine, the submarine is as dead as a door nail.(needed)
Answer from: Bob just cool
I don't think under water torpedoes can now I'm not positive because I've never had one. But I believe it just pops to the surface and its called that because it operates under water. If you want an easier, i hope, and cheaper get depth charges. It says on the description that it is an anti-submarine weapon so…. And also if you have a fast ship drive by your enemy and drop one right when you pass him. So that's my opinion :-) Bob out!

Never mind guys, torpedoes from underwater torpedo tubes can hit a submarine underwater, I thought it was just me because I had a glitch that might have been fixed.
Answer from: SuperToad02
It happened to me during wifi battle. i was next to a ship and the ship shot an underwater torpedoe and it hit me.
Answer from: PLAN
I'd depends on how deep you are. Torpedo tubes don't work on my sub when my sub is about 1/2 way down the depth gauge but I can fire my underwater torpedoes at the enemy they zoom up and pop out of the water and head their way.
Answer from: battleship
Torpedoes dont hit subs unless they are surfaced. while underwater torpedoes are the only ones on a sub and can only hit surface ships, any torpedo can hit a depth gauge (happened to me)
Answer from: Tiroler Bracke
No, just the underwater torpedos can hit a depth gauge. I tested it with several runs against several waves of 148 torpedos (48 triple), same with 48 Oxygens (192 torpedos) -> no harm. And 110 torpedo bombers won't take a sub down. Against 148 underwater torpedos allways the first wave took the sub down. I didn't test Torpedo A or B. B should be anyway the same as the Triple.
Answer from: Piskin
Underwater torpedo tubes can destroy submarines even if they are underwater but you have to fire directly at it so you kinda have to line up and stuff ive tested it and it works evry time so yeah they can hit subs
