Question & Answers
Reverse weapons?
Might not be as it sounds like, but apparently, when I want to use my dual MK 45, in the front of my ship, they only function when I go backwards and not forwards?
Answer from: Owlfeathers
Hi, I'm assuming that it's the angle of the ship's bow. If you're on plane (i.e. if the ship is tilted so the front is a lot more raised than the back), its possible that since the Mk 45 5 Inch gun is unable to turn downwards, it's just that the angle of the ship when moving forwards is too high for the guns to point at the target. Try adding more ballast or other weight to the front or otherwise making the ship more level when moving. Hope this helps.

There is a hint called non-restricted rotation. If you flip your gun upside down it might help solve the angle problem.
Answer from: Owlfeathers
That might work actually, though it may have the side-effect of causing the gun to be unable to aim up. Normally that's not a problem though, unless you fight a carrier.

Actually the only gun that can be flipped upsidedown is the 12 cm gun, any other gun (excluding under water torpedo tubes, and the other torpedo tube types(unsure except for the under water tubes, although I actually never used one)) can flipped except in the opposite direction the barrels are facing, if your a person that does not cheat.
Answer from: Hardcore colors
You can flip anything any direction without cheating, its just a glitch. But anyways, I thinks MKs can fire any direction.
