Question & Answers

Aircraft carrier speed (Closed)

What is a god top speed for an aircraft carrier? Mine goes 67 knots, is 275 meters long, and its displacement is 106,006 tons.

Answer from: ALHANUKE
I think atleast 70 knots because planes go maximum 60 knots and try to make it as fast as possible to reduce chances of being hit and 67 knots is actually great for a massive carrier.

I wouldn't be mad at that speed how many airplanes are on it

That would really depend on the design, if it's heavily armed and/or armored, even 50 knots is fine. If not, then at least 85. Although it doesn't really matter unless you're that noob online who launches 100 hacked planes and runs away.

194.4 is not max speed. planes can't land above about 100 knots forward speed and at 190 you have to back up to find them if you've gone a ways. when you see them circling but not landing you'll have to go find the ones in landing mode somewhere behind you. launching more planes, IF you have them on deck, will reset the runways to let the planes catch up.

sub: USS Arizona (yes it goes forward and backward submerged)
carrier: Borg cube
battleship: free design (can sit dead in the water 15 min on game clock without shooting before sinking the big carrier battle, easily)

194.4kn in both directions as long as you are not hunting with a "cost of weapon cheat VIP-Ship" in low levels "My First Battleships". Nearly unbelievable what I meet with my level 4 ship and what I never see with my VIP ship. And if you try to cheat: Please don't set the weight of your parts down to reach the speed. This will increase your stability to rediculous hights. And if there are just nearly unsinkible ships running around, the game is dead. There are yet some running around, especialy turrets. Takes you an half an hour to sink a allready disconnected. So if you need to cheat with the speed put the power of your engines up.
