MJ = Michael Jacksons. Also, just wondering, why did you post this in Q&A? Additionally, rather than buying a skeleton, I would recommend that you make a little barge out of 400mm or 600mm armor. My noobashing ship only has a small armament, but nothing smaller than a 15" gun can take it out, 1000 toughness and armor, and still goes 90 knots, which is fairly good in level 1. Good luck!

The Game seems to handle superkavativation. So highspeed is in an other class with other methods. Start with supensers (wrong site implemented halfunits) just above or in the waterline in the front and the back. In superkavativation hard edges are bettr then smooths. But steerability gets tricky.

I just bought skelton 200mm armour lightweight, added 4 angled boilers and it goes 140 knots.
unfortunately its stability is p[retty rubbish and you can sink it yourself by putting it on full speed and consdtantly turining the wheel left an d right :)

Well, on the topic of high speeds, I'd like to see sombody get a 300K ton ship to 194.4 knots. I've managed to get max speed on about 275K, but no more. My speed tweaking skills have their limits. Also, if anyone wants to get max speed really easily, just buy a skeleton and add a few boilers, add some skis to the bottom (and to the sides for stability if you want) and you should be getting maximum speed.

I did it: 492000t with 140000hp (4 Turbines, 4 Large Carrier Boilers) Info says 170kn but Try run 194.4kn.

How'd you get a ship that heavy? I thought the hard limit was about 350K tons?

Hard work, many, many 662, searching the last possibility to spare parts (50m angled decks look weird but cover 40 square untits), avoiding extending usage by using to many same critical parts (never use 8 Turbines - better 4 Turbines + 4 Angled Boilers) It was designed at a time when i tought that fixing the 662-toughness-bug and powering up boilers to the sum of 450000hp+ would work on all devices and not just on mine. So now it is with regular plist at the moment 499035t, 140992hp, 420m length, 160m beam, 65.1m height, 22.3 draft and 33660.8 area. It has 19 46cm, some 30 MK45 and 530 planes. At the moment Info and TryRun say 194.4kn. But with the reduced toughness for the 662s to 6000 and the normal power with allover thoughness of 1609,9 and a acceleration in TryRun with 2:33 to max speed forward or backward(realtime on ipad2) a fast, good armored and daring ship gets my runways under water before the 1. diving bombers starts around position 200-240.
