Whats the difference between 400mm armor adn 600mm armor?
I know 600mm armor sounds better but the armor points are the exactly asme just the 600mm weighs more. So whats the difference?
Answer from: Lagoe
600mm as double the toughness given the same space. This means that on small ships, 600mm is better, but take a larger ship, and you want large 400mm armor. Why? Because it's bigger, and thus has 8x the toughness of a normal 400mm block (2x2x2, so it is 8x bigger, tougher heavier etc), and it will also have 4x the toughness of a 600mm block. This means that a ship made from pure 600mm armor will only have 1/4 of the toughness of a ship made from the big blocks.

Depends. If u use 400 mm large, it's better. Not fit for small ships tho. Otherwise 600 mm is better.
