Mk 45 snipers will do the trick. Make an armored carier

If you don't have anything that can act as an AA unit (such as type 96 gun and/or fighters) then you can't take the all planes down fast enough. No matter how many mk 45. you have

Make a supercarrier(customized) that has 3000 armor 8000 toughness and more air defenses

And 50 planes

Answer from: Lagoe
Having 8000 toughness on a carrier means you have to compromise other things (i.e. planes). About 4000 toughness is enough for a large supercarrier. If you go for too much armor, there's just no point as all your planes will be shot out of the sky by the enemies as they will outnumber yours too heavily. P.S. Get rid of all those godforsaken 12" guns. They simply weigh too much to be used effectively, and their firepower is puny. Just replace those stability killers with some 18" guns, or even just 16" guns with some MK45 5" guns.

Use Mk-45 guns. I beat both carriers in drill that way. My ship wasn't too heavily armored, neither.

Try making a flying ship so they would go down and use torpedos as bombs and if they go up, use at least 1-10 of guns that shoot airplanes. mostly speed makes it more impossible to defeat.

Answer from: Crz
Remove your 305mm guns, they don't help you much fighting large armored ships. Try to make your ship larger and replace them with 460mm guns andMk45guns. Add AA guns to protect your ship. Hide your engines under the 460mm gun, and they won't be damaged easily. Try to increase the speed, the faster you go , the more difficult for the enemy to hit you. Always remember to set enemy carrier on fire, and this can stop enemy planes from taking off.
