How to increase barn storage

Ammd1 is right -- they purposely withhold some pieces ( or make them very rare ) because they want you to buy diamonds. (Well it's how they make their money -- you can't fault them.) I tried bobbie's suggestion but when I got to other mailboxes I get the same choices as my own mailbox.

If u harvest multiple things at once like a field of hay or collect multiple animal products, u will find building supplies as u collect ur products!

Buy the supplies you need from other people by shopping in the newspaper. Click on your mailbox, if you dont see what you need, click on anyone's sales ad and then click on their mailbox. Keep going to different farms and reading their mail until you find what you are looking for.

I keep doing that but never get wood planks. I can't find them anywhere and never get them as a reward for multiple harvesting. Seems like the missing piece in the McDonalds Monopoly game with the one missing piece only one person gets and wins.

I have too many single planks to be honest, but not enough tape and not enough double planks. I have like 20+ of others and one tape and one double plank. Ugh it's annoying, they're all just taking up space at this point while I wait for tapes and double planks.

Same here, I have all other equipment except the tape. Can't see to find it in other people's roadside Sales. Is there a way to buy it?

Put the surplus up for sale. That will clear the useless stuff out of your barn. Can't really help with finding stuff.

What is needed is a cooperative strategy from everyone. Basically our barns area all full of hardware that we won't release because its rare. If we all release the bits we can't use for our next upgrade, everyone will benifit. Cooperative strategies benefit everyone (see the movie 'Beautiful Mind') the bloke that discovered this won the Nobel prize for economics. ..trouble is nobody wants to be the first to do it! As an aside, I noticed I get reels of gaffa tape after producing lots of wheat. I wonder what crop gifts single planks? Hope that helps.

Yeah. I've sold tape and planks that I don't need. But I can seem to find any bolts. I'm really wishing someone will be able to sell some bolts to me.
