I'm at level 27 and was able to bring trees and bushes back to life, but the exclamation signs were posted in front of each plant or tree. Not sure how that worked, but hope I answered your question.

You have to click the exclamation mark, share in Facebook and if people touch your tree it revitalises. You can remove your help request in Facebook if you want after posting it. Hope this helps

Answering to bushwhacker and tree killer.
1) trees and bushes are only good 3x and then you have to cut them down and start over. It does say in the shop under ea item...collect three times. I think most of us don't catch that right away!
2) I think there is no way around the fb thing at least for trees and bushes. Either don't buy trees or bushes or you can start a dummy fb account if your set on owning them, but don't forget they are only good for 3x collect. Best bet is using the road stand.

I'm not on Facebook and I just saved a friend's trees. I was looking around her farm and noticed exclamation signs by her trees. Touched them and voila.

I tried clicking on other ppl's dying trees.. it didn't revitalize the trees... so i guess i will use the road stand technique =\

It does day good for 3x when you buy them. I was able to get mine revitalized once but not a second time. The only option available is the saw.

U don't need a Facebook account to have people revive your trees. I myself don't have a Facebook account :"( but with the help of my followers and people who buy stuff from my stand, I am able to revive my plants. :D

Hey you use that exclamation mark thing and hopefully someone will press them and u should have a sign of a pic in front for dead apple trees, I just did that after I used them 3x and it let me have another go, but it is lucky if someone comes to your farm straight away and does it but u can't use it before 3 goes and it should only come up then. Hope this is helpful XD :) .
