Roadside Shop only eggs for sale?
When I look through the ads, all that's ever posted are eggs and sometimes bacon and eggs.....why won't it show me any other items for sale? There is no way that hundred of thousands of people are only selling eggs! Yes, they have other items, but mainly milk and wheat. Why won't it give my any useful ads?

It eventually will. But you are right . Most of the time it is just eggs, bacon and bacon and eggs. When I am playing, I check it frequently and I get some good stuff...I think they only put it up for a small about of time...so you just have to check often. Good luck!

I find I get better choices opening the newsletter from a 'friend's' farm - go to a random farm from the newsletter and open it from there.

I am not 100% on this but I think I have a theory. The newspaper takes into account what level you are playing at, & is not going to show you items listed that you can't buy. As you rise in level you start to see more items frequently other than just Eggs, Bacon & Eggs, & Bacon. And even though there are many more items people sell at lower levels, those tend to go pretty fast. When you post an ad for a specific item, the game gives you 30 minutes until you can post another ad, but if your item does not sell, it can potentially stay advertised for up to 3 hours. Because these three are the easiest & fastest to make, people sell them off to make room for other items. But since everyone sells off these items, they are more frequently seen in the ads, so they stay advertised longer because nobody buys them. Vicious circle...

This game is just another money maker - the only way it's not a pain in the butt is if you buy diamonds, uninstalling!!!

The dynamics of game is like a poker game, he gives you enough to get tempted enough to have to buy diamonds. Like when you need some item to upgrade barn or silo, they will give you a lot of one item, but never enough that you can upgrade yourself. The same goes for newspaper, they will never allow a advertising from another farm that allow you to upgrade anything forcing you to buy diamonds, they do that by filtering the results, so if you need eggs&bacon guess what all sort of items start appearing and vice-versa. The real challenge is to resist to buy the damn diamonds as the game is addictive as hell.
