How to get wheat to feed the chickens?
I have been waiting for someone to sell wheat but most people are selling eggs, milk and everything else....oh well

When Greg has some wheat, buy 1 and plant it. Leave all the other spots empty so when the wheat is ready to be harvested you can plant it and you will get a major supply of wheat

Wheat is one of the fastest crops and you can easily grow over a hundred in a short time. It also appears that you get building or other items when you harvest the crops. Carrots are also a short time grower and either of these items can be used to be a super harvester.

Look, in case you're a goose like I was when I first started playing this game and you happen to stumble on this post - you don't need to keep trying to buy wheat, plant 1 and when it grows, harvest it, and keep replanting it (each time it grows back, it doubles in your inventory when you harvest it) - I know that probably seems obvious to most of you, but I didn't get the concept when I first started playing. Try and keep at least one of all your crop types, and you'll always be able to grow more from them.. Or if you did use your last, shop around and you'll find ozone selling t least one somewhere (and then don't use your last one again! It does warn you)
