How do I get planks?
I can't seem to ever get a plank for anything i do. I found a wood panel once (only once). I can't upgrade my barn (really need to). I've been looking out for a plank in the newspaper sales for ages now but they never come up! I spend all my diamonds hoping a chest will give me one but all I ever get is more coins (useless) or a hatchett (also useless to me). Is there a corp i can harvest a lot of that might give me a plank? anything i can do? I can hardly move forward in the game because my barn is always full. really annoying. i'm gonna give up playing soon as it's losing it's fun :P Can't i just use some of the wood from all the trees i've cut down? what kind of a farmer am I?!

You can get them by just playing the game... Here's a short list =
1) Harvesting from Crops and Animals
2) Buying from other players
3) Finding them from treasure chests
4) (Maybe) Greg sells them?

I find planks hard to find too, you just have to keep an eye out for ones in the newspaper, I'm afraid when harvesting or collecting what you get is very random. If you have to you can spend diamonds on actually buying them rather then on the lucky chest, they cost 8 diamonds each, you can click on your barn, click increase storage and next to the plank, bolt ect. You can click the yellow plus sign with the amount of diamonds and this will get you the tools you need. Hope I helped and hope you don't quit the game!! X

I have planks & screws but I don't know how to use them. I know that you click on the trees to use the saws and cut them down but I can figure out how to use the planks and upgrade my barn! Help please!

What you got to do is click on your barn and click upgrade or expand storage. It is at the bottom of the window when you click on the barn. Then you will need certain materials to upgrade it, then click upgrade

Marlyecal, do you have signs for others to come water your fruit trees and bushes? The wood planks and screws are very rare for my farm too. ;(. I actually thought of quitting too because we need storage. My crop harvesting once in weeks yields planks. The higher the level the harder it seems to get them. Good luck, my GC I'd: Fun4us! Join me

I just got a plank 30 second ago by getting I cow or pig food out of the food mill. By the way if it matters I'm level13.

Mine shows planks but when I go to upgrade my barn it says 0/1 planks

Rocking Horse: Maybe you believe that you have planks, but you actually have wooden panels? They look almost the same, exept that they also have nails. I think wooden panels are easier to get than planks. :)

Planks tapes and bolts r most precious things in game bcoz they need for increase barn capacity. U get them rendomly by palnting, harvesting and feeding
