Level 283 is VERY difficult to explain. I have gone over it several times and can't quite figure out how to explain this to you, so I will try my best. Before the level even starts, you do have the option to use some of your coins, 139,000 of them, to get 3 bombs that you can use throughout the level. This is one of those levels where those extra bombs will make a huge difference. Coins are different than gems. You earn coins every time you play the level, so you are not using any of your real money to do this. You can see how many coins you have in the top left hand corner on the menu screen. But if you do get the bombs, I recommend playing the level a couple of times first to get a feel for it so you will already know the best place to use the bombs. I am going to break this down into the different phases, which are separated by the chains.
Phase 1: You need to get to one of the light switch bubbles first. Lets go after the one on the right. You will see the light switch, with two frosted bubbles below it and one frosted bubble to its left. Shoot a bubble at the middle of the two bubbles that are below the light switch. Now shoot at the very bottom bubble, this will give you a shot at the light switch, shoot it, and it will light up the unlit bubbles. Now you have the three bubbles in the middle above you, with the two doom bubbles below it, and you have the set of bubbles to the left and right of it, with one space between the different sets on both sides. Shoot a bubble into that empty spot on both the left and right of the center set of bubbles. This will un-frost the center bubbles. Now you should have 7 un-frosted bubbles on the top row just below the chain, with some other bubbles hanging off on both sides. Shoot a bubble on either the left or ride side in the corner where the top row bends down. This will knock everything down and give you a clear shot to the locks, shoot the locks to move on.
Directly above you, you have the two light switch bubbles that are frosted, with another frosted bubble on each side of it. Lets label those four bubbles starting from the left 1, 2, 3, 4. The light switch bubbles are 2 and 3. Shoot a bubble in between 1 and 2. Then shoot your next bubble between 2 and 3. Next shoot somewhere on the left side to drop everything. There should be one frosted bubble there to stop you from hitting the toxic ones. This will drop everything and expose the locks. Shoot the locks to move on.
The next phase is going to be very difficult to explain. I have been playing it over and over trying to think of a way I could explain this to you, but have been coming up short. While I continue working on the answers for you, you can continue to try yourself. The tips I can give you are these. Sometimes it is almost impossible to avoid the toxic bubbles. Sometimes you just have to hit them and accept the loss. But also pay attention to where the frosted bubbles are. A frosted bubble will stop you from hitting the toxic bubbles so pay attention to what frosted bubbles you need to un-frost, as well as what frosted bubbles you should leave alone. I will work on the solution for the rest of the level so check back soon.
