Upgrades: can they be installed on other car

Hi, i'm new in this. so, if i invest in upgrades, can i later install them into better car, or are they only applicable on the one i have now (ford focus ST)

Only applicable on individual cars. thats what makes it so addictive !

Upgrades can not be transferred to another car nor can you sell them or the car.
