I am currently level 19 and have only bought 2 guns - the pump shotgun (which i upgraded the damage, reload, and clip on) and the heavy assault rife (which I fully upgraded). I think the best general use of time is running survivor missions (for the), running barricade missions (when you have a task for barricades), or running Beast missions (if you want to maximize xp).The numberless xp-counter is pretty frustrating. Once you can tackle red missions without fail (about level 12 for me), the levelling happens really fast.

I'm level 21 best way to get coins faster is airlift 50 ppl to safety 700 coins but sometimes it only gives me 500?? I just pick best Xp gun to use keep old one and when have few zz saved up use em to upgrade to max

What I discovered yesterday: If you auto-complete the survivors mission, you'll get 8 survivors for 80 gold (or 6 for 60 gold in the yellow mission). For the biggest airlift you'll get 700 gold for 50 survivors. So you get a survivor for 10 gold and "sell" him for 14. Nice margin ... And the power is not decreased when auto-completing at the same time as money and xp are piling up. I moved through level 28 in about 1 hour, have bought EVERYTHING there is to buy and have still 760,000 money and 25,000 gold left. All weapons fully upgraded. Btw, tHe rocket launcher and the grenade launcher are pieces of junk. I prefer the minigun, although I usually only need about half of its 2,000 rounds even for the toughest missions.
