Cannot defeat mayor

Not an answer, but I have same problem & it's ticking me off! You say defeat mayor as if it is somehow easily done. I did it once. He keeps putting head up to shake. Impossible to see flowers. Know any tricks? Mayor only one I have prob with.

I quit. This is a terrible, hateful way to end a what up to this point is a fun, cute game. Games usually have to been winnable somehow. The "defeat mayor" is very misleading. How can you pluck flowers you can't see or get to when his head is up shaking you off. Flash bombs don't work. I've tried 5 at a time and no response. I heard people say Mill Hill was too hard & you fixed that for them. I never had a problem in Mill Hill. They were harder, but certainly defeatable. I can usually beat all spirits in one try. So what's the deal with the mayor. Again, you can't pluck flowers you can't get too or aren't even there. Unless you can tell me if I'm missing something, Lili is gone. Well I guess no response will be coming from anyone, esp. Bitmonster. Lili is dead. Killed off by the mayor.

Use a stealth bomb to sneak up on him. In a bomb frenzy pluck off all the bombs before they blow up. In a thorn frenzy avoid thorns use jentle hands to pluck flowers and bombs, use a quick and jentle hand always!

I had to use about 8 or 9 bombs when I finally succeeded. When he goes into a bomb frenzy, swipe the bombs off at first, then use your own bomb to get the rest. Don't touch the thorns. Focus on the flowers, and if he stops producing flowers, use a bomb to stimulate them. He wasn't producing enough flowers to make defeat possible. The game seemed to be stuck in a cycle. So I went to one of the other areas and fought a rematch against an easy spirit, then went back to Serfside and defeated the Mayor immediately. After plucking all his white flowers, he stands there until you remove his hat. There's a red flower under it which you pluck, supposedly Defeating the Mayor. He says something, like all the spirits do when thet're defeated. I can't remember what it was. BUT, he didn't disappear. So I am supposed to defeat him again? Now, Lili is wearing his hat, but he's still running around, and the Objective still is "Defeat the Mayor". C'mon, Bitmonster guys, you can do better. This game is so buggy that you can't "win" and when you do, it doesn't register. I quit! If anyone else had similar experience, why don't you post it. Thanks.

I cant always defeat the major! When i do, i dont. :)) But seriously, when i beat the major, he starts running around again and the objective is "DEFEAT THE MAJOR"

I finally beat the Mayor. The problem was not having enough of the blue bomb that you buy from the store. You need top luck flowers off Mayor's head take white ones mostly no weeds and in between throw blue bomb at Mayor so more good flowers appear and weeds and bombs drop off. It felt good to finish game.

After I stop the windmill., It tells me to tell trainer. Once I get back to serfside, mayor says to his two guys, "Seize her"
Then nothing, I'm just standing there and Mayor is running around. So then objective is defeat mayor. I go to trainer,
And he tells me to shut down Windmill (I already did), talk to mill hill. Locals, and we will force mayors hand or something .
I go to mill hill, i get nowhere. Trainer doesn't change his story. I tried starting game over, tried kid mode. Uninstalled, tried iPhone 5 and iPad mini.
