Can't finish tower 7

Hi there, To complete tower 7 you must make 100,000 in in-game currency. My problem is that it keeps resetting when it shows the count every time I fight a dragon. I'm always back to zero and it's frustrating because I'll make over 25,000 and then when I fight a dragon and resets back to zero. Any insight or help would be most appreciated

Gold transfers from any tower. Return to a previous tower and collect gold from dwellers such as the royalty.
