Question & Answers
When Will T-Rex become available?
I've been playing Jurassic Park Builder for a while. I've noticed in market the silhouettes of familiar dinosaurs like Spinosaurus. However, there isn't any sign of T-Rex. I was wondering when he will become available?
Answer from: AaronZOOM
If you're up to Spinosaurus, then you'll see the T-Rex silhouette on there soon. BUT...and this is a big but...it is not a "coin" dino, it is a "bucks" dino. And it's 490 bucks, too. Which means you'd have to spend $50 of REAL MONEY in order to buy the T-Rex. And you know what? That would be the dumbest $50 you would ever spend in your life.
Answer from: Louie
I don't know why the hell they would do such a thing with they're most popular Dino that sucks!
Answer from: bill
As you progress in the game it should change to a coin dino. The rollercoaster was a buck building but it changed to a coin

In that case, what park level do u have to be, in order to get the brontosaurus with coins? Seeing that it's one of my favorites....
Answer from: BryanI
I've reached Level 30, the highest you can go. I have completed all missions. And still they are bucks dinos. You do indeed have to pay real money...or save up what you made with missions.
Answer from: Kris
When you Unlock Allosaurus go to the end and it will say 490 bucks for Tyrannosaurus
Answer from: todd
@Deathdealer600: forget brontosaurus its not even a real dinosaur. if you want an explanation i can give one
Answer from: Wildchild
It is a real Dino, it's just not called a brontosaurus, that's just the false nickname
Answer from: thadimus
Just bought the Trex with no real money spent, gotta love that new Tapjoy thing that gets your free dino bucks. TRex starts out at 5000 coin ever 4 hours.
Answer from: Isaac
I think level 15 is where T. rex is
Answer from: Daveyraveygrave
How does tap joy work?! I signed up and got no free bucks?!
Answer from: justmadethisup
Brontosaurus never existed... its not a false nick name either... the brontosaurs had an apatosaurus skull on a brachiosaurus body.
Answer from: Mr Question

Answer from: Iblaisedro

I Want to find the trex do you ave to get cash by using real money to get it or do you have to find its amber?
Answer from: MrKnowitAll
Actually you're only half right justmadethisup. The brontosaurus was indeed a misidentified and falsified dinosaur. The fossil of the body, which happen to be an Apatosaurus, was found without a head. The head was found further down stream from the initial dig site and was actually that of a camarosaur. Both were from the sauropod family and lived around the same time during the Jurassic period. The discoverer incorrectly assumed that the head had washed down river and placed the two together. Unfortunately as this was one of the first sauropods ever found the brontosaurus became synonymous with this species, and lead to it popularisation in literature and movies. Therefore the correct name for brontosaurus is in fact Apatosaurus. But to keep the relevance to the previous topic of conversation, I too must agree that the Tyrannosaurus rex should indeed by made available to purchase with the standard in game currency of gold coins. All the aforementioned species should. I am dissatisfied that Lydia would be so wanton as to incorporate such a disheartening scheme to maximise potential profits.

I at first wanted to buy it so bad, but my conscious told me that it's not worth it. You may enjoy it at first but it'll eventually get boring. The best thing you can do is to save up on bucks by not spending it to speed things up (be patient! you'll be happy by the time it's finished constructing while not having spent your bucks). Complete as many missions as possible and try getting free bucks from the free bucks option at the market. Maybe, soon in the future, the T.rex may eventually be able to be obtained by coins.
Answer from: XDuk
You havebto register for tapjoy, and make an acount and it will give u options for ways to get bucks the easiest way is the apps install and run. U can delete the app after, once u get the bucks
Answer from: Nick_the_Newman
Just to point out level 30 is not the highest level, you may go twice as high here in England. Also buying bucks is a waste of money. Follow the advice mentioned above save all your bucks and download free apps. Then delete them.

T- Rex is not available for coins, only 490 bucks. THAT'S A BARGAIN! I don't have it because you have to save up bucks REALLY well! Spinosaurus was budgeted up from Brachiosaurus. Because you were getting good at taking Care of your park, Ludia decided to give the next dino (spinosaurus) a real bargain. (as its so popular) Brachiosaurus was 57,250 coins I think and Spinosaurus is 97,400 coins i think. So yeah. It's just a massive bargain at Spinosaurus and the ahead dinos. I'm at Lv. 19 and REALLY close to getting my Glacier Park. Can't wait!

Go on tapjoy you get free bucks but you have to download and run a lot of the apps. You get a lot from the paid apps. The free ussually gives you 1-8 depending on the app but theirs an app where you subscribe for like $10 not including the app and you'll get like 325 Dino buck. I'm saving for the T. rex and I need 8 more thanks to tapjoy. The only thing is you have a certain amout of apps you can download in a certain amount of time but most of the time it works and it's easy
Answer from: Buttcheeks
The spinosaurus is actully 98,350 coins. I have the T rex and I went to youtube for a glitch that makes the t rex 20,000 coins every hour every day
