Are you sure you did this in ocean AND freshwater? That would be my guess.

Either that or maybe there is fish you've never caught. When looking at records and scrolling thru individual fish, it skips over fish you have never caught.

Thanks for taking time to help.. What is freshwater fish #37 and ocean #118? Those are closest to maybe being B.. The rest I have seen and caught at least 4 stars

118 and 37 are both A's. I know it is possible because I was able to complete that quest and get the reward (think it was gortex shirt). One other possible problem could be that you caught a fish that was too big for your boat and you had to let it go. I know I caught a 4-star pink dolphin that is 65" and shows up in my rare fish book, but I'm not sure if it would count towards a quest. It seems like it would, but I'm just not 100% sure. I would go thru every fish in the rare fish book and make sure there is not a 3 star hiding in there tht you have missed. FYI. There is a complete list of fish, grades, and where to find in the Cheats & Hints tab.

You also have to make sure that you've caught every F-B fish at least once. If you didn't catch the fish, it won't show up in your rarest catch records. I've been trying to get F-B 3S+ and haven't been able to find the Ocean sunfish at the Pole. Check your longest records and make sure there are no ??? for the fish ranked F-B.
