Best way to make money
What combination of equipment/boat/location do you guys use to get the most money per boatload? I find that because the higher equipment costs so much to repair that I dont go after "S" or "SS" fish.
I use:
Crystal Rod +3
Line No. 7 + 2
Various lures.
Big Yacht - Radar Lvl 3 - Lenght 255.

I've been asking myself the same thing. I use my best rod, Carbon + 3 and Line No. Zero+1 with golden lure, sometimes sensor but rarely because i find the durability of equipment really goes down when battling anything above A for me. I also use Gortex Shirt, Scouter and Cutting Edge Vest for clothes. This combination has been my sweet spot for making over 100K when selling fish and repairing only about 45K.

I have found that a bigger boat makes it easier to catch bigger fish adn puts less wear on equipment and clothing, thus resulting in a larger difference between catch and repair costs. I started the game completely over after I was unable to catch the S and SS fish without losing money. I needed a new strategy. Worked my way up and I bought the $500K boat when I had the money, put on the Aegis Radar, and went from $150K to $700K in several hours of play - and I still have yet to catch an A fish this time. Making plenty on money catching B fish and lower right now.

I used the 500k boat, "cruiser", after went for the black pearl.
carbon+4 with a golden lure
Line No.8+2
CarbonFiber vest or cutting edge vest
The yawasawa islands and the pole seemed to pull in the most for me.
Contest wise, I always went for the longest, 1 good fish seemed to easily do it for me. (No.8 line)
