How do you catch 5 star S and SS fish?
What level of equipment do you need? I currently am using: Black Pearl equipped with Aegis radar - Veteran Rod +2 - Marvelous Lure - Line 10 +4 - Goretex Shirt - Scouter hat - Cutting Edge vest... These are all the highest rated items in the games and some fish I get on my line, I can't get their power meter to even budge. How much do I have to upgrade my equipment to catch these fish?

At this point, your veteran rods level needs 7 or higher, you will need line zero at level 7 or higher, and lots of money because if even if you catch it, it wont be enough to cover the cost of the repairs.

No...You Only need +4 Vet Rod and best cloths with line 0...As for the money for repairs, the game uses power to rank ratios meaning as long as you don't lose a fish you will always make money
