Earning diamonds

I've heard tell of a diamond mine in level 12. I bought some to buy the monsters in order to advance, but not sure if this is necessary, it just speeds up the process.

You can breed new monsters without having to spend any diamonds. Breed what you already have and you'll find you get some really good ones! Use those to breed more. Diamonds just make things faster— you can play without ever having to purchase monsters or diamonds.

Yes you can buy/build a diamond mine once you reach level 12. It does cost 500,000 coins so you will have to let those monsters sing for a while in order to save up enough coins to purchase a mine that will supply diamonds.

I think it is a case the game developers expect you to get hooked on the game and to buy the diamonds! you can breed new monsters without diamonds but some can take several hours to breed and then a further several hours to incubate.

It appears as though the diamond mine takes about 12 hours to complete, and turns up 2 diamonds per cycle. I've only gone through one cycle, so I'm not sure if it will yield more as time moves on.

When you breed, you get new monsters usually within 2-12 hours depending on the cost of the monster you will get. The more expensive the monster the longer it takes. You can also get the monster you want by breeding them based on the snow, rock, plant, and water symbols. For example a snow monster bred with a plant monster gets you a snow-plant monster.

@monkeyhumper - Each mine gives only 2 diamonds every 12 hours. The trick is to buy all 3 available islands and buy a mine for each. Essentially you will need to buy some coins one time to do this but it is worth it because the mine generates 2 diamonds every 12 hours. So with 3 mines you can get upto 12 diamonds a day and within 3 days of collecting you will have enough to start buying monsters

You can get a mine where you can mine diamonds its unlocked at level 12 however you have to pay 500,000 gold coins for it

My mine only makes 1 diamond every 24hrs. i was hoping it would increase as the days go on; ie: 1 diamond first day, 2 the second day, and so on (figuring it would cap eventually) so far its only been 3 days and its only yielded 3 diamonds (one per day) kinda disappointing.

Also you can tap friends and tap the button that says to make a friend with twitter and the one that says facebook it will take you yo a web page but then exit an you will get the diamonds! I think you can get at least 6 but I am not sure, or maybe 9

I need 14 diamonds to get my castle to upgrade faster so I can't get my monster yet only in 14 hours and I once bought The mine for like a man but then got bored of it lol
