Check out monster characteristics - you will see 3 small icons representing snowflake/ stone/ water drop etc so you need to breed from 2 monsters that will give you this combination.

You need to breed a Maw with a Potbelly... There are other combinations also.. As mentioned by precious poster, you need to combine correct elements in order to breed your desired monster (in this instance, you need Water, Snow & Leaf to get Bowgart). Cheers
