How do you move monsters between two of your islands? Can you even do that?

No you can't. You need to purchase the monster for each island. You also can't move decorations or buildings between islands.

Yes you can place them on gold island. Click on Map go to gold island and click on place. The monster must be at least a level 15 to be transferred.
