My boyfriend upgrade glitch?

I want to know why I keep getting boyfriend upgrades but my boyfriends bonus isn't increasing? Anyone else having this problem?

I had the same problem. I ended up switching to a lower noble guy to see and sure enough it was a glitch as the new noble guy increased passed the level of the old one.
