How to make the Combo Multiplier

How do you make the combo multiplier increase i have combos over 100 and still its only 1x?

Are you referring to the mini games? The combo multiplier there are based on streak of turtle hits. So if you mess up after every 20 hits, the multiplier doesn't change. I usually need over 100 at least on the first few mini games to get the multiplier to increase over 1.0. Hope that helps.
